Various developments are taking place in and around Amersfoort’s Zonnehof, which will further transform the area into a living and working area with its own character, between the station and the city centre.
Various owners and initiators in the area have plans for projects.
The various plans are being developed separately from each other, but the developers are working together. It is no longer a question of whether the buildings and locations in and around the Zonnehof can be given a new life. The city council has adopted a policy to exploit opportunities for a special area with room for housing in addition to work functions. These are desperately needed in the city. But the plans are not yet finished. The suggestions of interested parties can be used in the further elaboration.
