“Our company philosophy is simple. We want people to feel comfortable in their homes and their neighbourhoods. We try to make social, cultural and financial returns go hand in hand when developing homes.”
However, this does not mean that we do not want to make a profit. On the contrary, we prefer to make as much profit as possible so that the LATEI Foundation can reinvest this in society.
LATEI is a project developer specialised in housing. Its sole shareholder is Stichting LATEI, which reinvests the company’s profits in social and cultural causes that enhance the quality of life in the region.
The development company LATEI has been running profitably for decades and never experienced financial problems, even in the lean 90s. This is partly due to our target group-oriented way of development.
We don’t invent a product ourselves and then go and sell it. No, we ask potential customers what they need and then we develop it. A fundamentally different and demonstrably successful approach.
